Supervisory Orthotist/Prosthetist
The Supervisory Prosthetist/Orthotist serves as the Chief of the Orthotic & Prosthetic(O&P) Lab in the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service (PSAS), for Iowa City VA Medical Center and Central Iowa (Des Moines) Health Care Facility. The duties of the Supervisory Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist are to administer, or perform work concerned with rendering prosthetic and sensory aids services to disabled patients. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education A bachelor's degree or higher in orthotics and prosthetics from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program. OR, A bachelor's degree or higher in any major along
